Float switch connection auto & manual single phase water pump

This starting procedure uses a motor starting mechanism that gives you two options for controlling the water pump: manually with two push buttons (start and stop), and automatically with a float switch. By blocking the path to either of the two mechanisms, a selector switch is used to divide the two processes and prevent simultaneous operation of the automatic and manual (hand) functions.

The purpose of each element's component

Stop Push Button:
When operating manually (by hand), the stop button de-energizes the contactor coil, which then regulates the flow of power to the pump.

Start Push Button: The contactor coil is manually powered by the start push button.

Selector Switch:
The handle of the selector switch can be turned to alter how the circuit functions manually or automatically

Float Switch:
In an automated operation, depending on the type of system,  the float switch activates or deactivates the contactor coil when the water level in the tank is low. In this case, the pump should stop working when the water level in the tank drops.

Green
Pilot Light: The green pilot light is used to indicate when the contactor is energized.

Red Pilot Light:
The red pilot is used to indicate when the contactor de-energizes.

Magnetic Contactor:
The contactor is used to energize and de-energize pumps using electromagnetism. It creates a path for current to flow to pumps through its main contacts, which are closed while the coil is energized and open when the coil is de-energized.

Auxiliary Contact: The auxiliary contact is used to energize and de-energize pilot lights in the circuit by

Motor Saver: Motor saver is used to protect the motor from excessive voltage or low voltage.

Isolator: Isolator is used to isolate the power from the entire system.

How does it work?
In this circuit, there are two ways to start the water pump: manually or automatically. The selector switch controls these two methods and keeps them from operating simultaneously. The automatic method uses a float switch that contains a weighted ball and a small switch that is both integrated into the housing to make up the float switch. The sensor will begin to float higher once the water has reached it. With the aid of gravity, this upward position will cause the ball to roll down and close the switch contacts which then energize the contactor coil. Hence powering the water pump. If the water in the tank drops below the point of the sensor the float switch would stop floating causing the ball to change its position and open the closed contacts. Therefore, de-energizing the contactor coil

A stop push button and a start push button are used in the manual approach. The circuit would need to be manually switched on by pressing the start push button and manually turned off by pressing the stop push button, which would either energize or de-energize the contactor coil if the selector switch is changed or shifted to the manual position.
